Communication and social barriers of unemployed people

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of communication and social barriers of unemployed people. The theoretical part provides basic information on this topic and is focused on the reasons and consequences associated with losing a job. In the practical part I have elaborated on the development of unemployment in Czech Republic for the past three years, relying on data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Czech Statistical Office. I have also conducted a personal interview with the labor office employee in Slovakia. Last part of my thesis contains the results of an anonymous questionnaire, which was conducted at the labor office for Prague 3. The main aim of thesis was to identify and analyze how unemployed people experienced this difficult situation, and what forms of communication and especially social barriers they might be encountering.

The bachelor thesis theme is communication and social barriers of unemployed people in the Klatovy district. Theoretical part focuses especially on unemployment issues, the meaning of a job for people and social communication. Its task is to define the barriers of unemployed and factors that influence them. In the practical part there is summary and analysis of survey that has been done on the premises of the Labour Office in Klatovy. This parts task is to confirm the hypothesis stated in the first part and find out if the barriers described there really do exist within the respondents and to which extend.
Job Satisfaction and Job Change - June 2012

June's survey of CVVM asked questions regarding the relationship of workers to their jobs. On the one hand, the survey focused on the topics such as job satisfaction, perception of workplace climate and subjective evaluation of adequacy of earnings. On the other hand, the aim was also to determine, what is the proportion of workers considering the possibility of changing their job, what do they think is the probability of job loss and what would be the patterns of searching for a new job opportunities in such a case. The main finding is that the job satisfaction of working people is not changing noticeably and that the concerns about job loss are not raising significantly either. All questions have been responded to only by economically active population.

The goal is to determine whether any of barriers,formulated in the theoretical part, affect unemployed respondents in the district Tábor. The theoretical part discusses the meaning of work for humans, the characteristics of unemployment, social and communication barriers arising in connection with unemployment.
